Currently accepting owner surrender:

On limited basis. RH accepts all cats previously adopted from them. 

Procedure for pet relinquishment:

Send the email or leave a message. It will take few days before you can expect the response. 

Preference for the age of the animal: 

No prefference for the age. 

Solutions used in situation of going over capacity:

 RH stops accepting new cats when all foster placements are full. 

Placement of the animals:

Cats are placed in foster care until they are ready for adoption. They are also kept in adoption centers at different Petco/Pet Smart locations, as well as at two Cat Caffe type environment where cats are free to roam in a bigger space.
